[Avionics Today 02-27-2015] Gogo announced big earnings yesterday in its yearly report, with revenue for the full year 2014 up 24 percent over 2013 with a record $408 million. It’s fourth quarter 2014 revenue was also up 18 percent from Q4 2013, with $109 million.

“With approximately 9,000 aircraft online, representing approximately 20 percent of global aircraft, Gogo has the largest number of connected aircraft in the world,” said Gogo chief executive officer Michael Small, who noted that with 1,000 commercial aircraft yet to be installed, the company continues to see strong demand for connectivity in both the air transport and business markets.
