Regent Airways, a private airline from Bangladesh, has started its flight operations with several IT systems from Lufthansa Systems, including Lido/RouteManual navigation charts and the Lido/FPLS flight planning service. Regent Airways has also opted for the eLoadsheet weight & balance module. The airline has signed five-year agreements for these systems.

“As a start-up carrier, we are dependent on the fast implementation and high functionality of our IT systems. This is the only way to achieve the quality and reliability which will give us a foothold among the competition and help us reach our goal of becoming the leading airline in Bangladesh,” explained Imran Asif, CEO of Regent Airways. “The solutions from Lufthansa Systems ideally meet our needs because they are flexible and can grow along with us.”

With Lido/FPLS (Flight Planning Service), Lufthansa Systems generates operational flight plans and transmits them to the crew in time for departure. The eLoadsheet enables weight & balance calculations in the cockpit or at the station regardless of the respective system environment.
