Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) announced several supplemental type certifications for its PilotView Class 2 electronic flight bag at this week’s National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) annual event in Las Vegas.

ABC Completions of Montreal, Quebec, has received FAA STC approval to install the 10.4 inch system on the B737-700 BBJ. The certification covers a dual PilotView EFB installation. As part of the installation, ABC Completions has provided a custom made articulating mount, which places the EFB in the optimum position for comfortable viewing and usage, while maintaining safe operations of all cockpit controls.

Additionally, the company said PilotView was EASA certified for installation by RUAG on the Embraer EMB-135BJ. Embraer selected the PilotView EFB as a standard option for new aircraft production and for retrofits of in-service EMB-135BJ aircraft.

Also, Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, of St. Augustine, Fla., received FAA STC approval to the system on the Boeing B737-600, -700, -700C, -800, -900 and -900ER Series.
