| Lynx NTG 9000 now interfaces with the ForeFlight Mobile App |
[Avionics Today 08-08-2016] The L-3 Lynx NGT-9000, -2500 and -2000 models are now compatible with the ForeFlight Mobile App. This combination lets users expand their Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) traffic and weather viewing options. Pilots can connect to ForeFlight using Lynx Wi-Fi, which is standard on the NGT-9000, -2500 and -2000 models.
The panel-mounted Lynx NGT-9000 is a Mode S dual-band 978 and 1090 MHz ADS-B In/Out touchscreen transponder that also features a display for traffic and weather. When paired with the ForeFlight Mobile App, users can now overlay ADS-B weather and traffic data onto the many charts and maps that the app brings to the cockpit.
