[Avionics Today 11-11-2015] Rwandair will equip two aircraft in its fleet with Internet and mobile phone services through Sita OnAir’s In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) service. Rwandair’s two A330s will be line fitted with mobile phone and Wi-Fi services. The first A330 will be delivered in October 2016, making Rwandair, an international airline flying primarily to the Middle East and Africa, the fourth African airline to choose Sita OnAir as its connectivity provider.

Sita OnAir connectivity uses Inmarsat’s SwiftBroadband, which provides consistent global coverage, along with an option to upgrade to GX Aviation when it comes to market, in 2016.
