[Avionics Today July 2, 2014] Moscow-based Nordwind Airlines has selected Fokker Services’ iPad Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) for its mixed fleet of Airbus and Boeing passenger jets.

Fokker has a teaming agreement to introduce its EFBs across the entire Nordwind fleet. The Russian airline will receive a Class 2B, EASA-certified installation with mounting and power supply.

“After an intensive selection process Nordwind Airlines has chosen the EFB solution for iPad offered by Fokker Services. This provides a fully approved solution that meets Nordwind Airlines’ requirements in full,” said Krill Dedlovsky, deputy technical director at Nordwind Airlines.
