Qatar Airways has renewed its five-year service agreement with Jeppesen to add electronic flight bag (EFB) services to its commercial air operations.

Under the new agreement, the Middle Eastern carrier will add Jeppesen’s FliteDeck Pro EFB service to its iPads, and will also expand its FliteDeck Pro service on their EFB class 2 equipped A320s. Qatar also has options under the agreement to expand Jeppesen EFB 3 services for its current fleet of Boeing 777 passenger jets.

"Qatar is focused on OEM integrated EFB solutions and Jeppesen is pleased to support Qatar in transitioning to a fully paperless operator and further enhancing efficient operations for the airline," said Tim Huegel, director of aviation portfolio management at Jeppesen.
