The Cobham HGA-7001 High Gain Antenna system has been certified on the Airbus Long Range family of aircraft, the company said.
“With the Long Range program certified, we can now finalise adding this same capability to the Airbus A380,” said John DeSana, Vice President of Cobham SATCOM (Air and Marine Systems).
The system is deployed on a wide range of aircraft, including Boeing B737, B747, B767, B777 and B787 and Airbus A320, A350 and A400M.
