The Piper M600 single-engine turboprop has achieved certification with the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) in Brazil. Piper first achieved FAA certification on the M600 in July 2016, after a 1,850 hour flight testing campaign.

The $2.89 million M600 features Garmin G3000 avionics, a Pratt & Whitney PT6A turboprop engine, and a maximum range of 1,484 nm at intermediate cruise settings with NBAA Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) reserves.
Piper Aircraft President and CEO Simon Caldecott and Paulo N. Martins, president of Brazilian aircraft dealer J.P. Martins, believe the M600 will see demand from Brazilian operators.
“Despite the economic challenges that have been present in our market, we are beginning to see signs of improvement. The timing of ANAC’s approval is perfect. We are sure with its advanced technology, better performance, range, and low operating cost, the M600 will exceed the expectations of the Brazilian customers,” said Martins.
