[Avionics Magazine 09-16-2016] Beechcraft, a subsidiary of Textron Aviation, has received FAA certification on all 400XPR program elements, which offer upgrades to the Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400A aircraft. The first full Hawker 400XPR factory-completed aircraft is currently in work and Textron expects to deliver it to the operator later this year.

The 400XPR program can be performed in stages or in unison and can be completed in as little as 12 weeks, according to Beechcraft. The full Hawker 400XPR package includes Hawker Winglets and new Williams International FJ44-4A-32 engines, a combination that can offer a 33 percent increase in range along with improvements in runway and hot/high performance. The 400XPR upgrade also offers the option of retaining an operator’s aircraft’s existing Rockwell Collins Pro Line 4 avionics or upgrading with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics.

All components of the factory-approved, engineered and supported upgrade package are available for installation on Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP aircraft at Textron Aviation service centers.
