[Avionics Today 04-21-2015] China-based aerospace company Haite Group has launched its aviation training center in Singapore. The 21,000-meter facility in Changi Business Park serves as a training hub for flight crews. The facility is valued at an estimated $70 million and expects to attract up to $40 million in direct and indirect revenues annually for the Singapore economy over the next five years.

As Haite Group’s first aviation training center outside of China, Haite Singapore is the group’s new international headquarters and also the first major investment by a Chinese aerospace company in Singapore. The facility is equipped with modern training devices, including the Boeing B737-800W series 7000 Full Flight Simulator (FFS), Airbus A320 series 7000 FFS, and Airbus A320 Integrated Procedure Trainer (IPT).
