Satcom Direct, of Satellite Beach, Fla., launched a new company, Satcom Integration, which will offer turn-key consulting services, products, custom integration and software applications for satellite communications systems in the business aviation, military, marine and land mobile industries.
Satcom Integration is a partially-owned subsidiary of Satcom Direct. “The entire Satcom Integration team has in-depth working knowledge of the vendors, products and technologies available in the satellite communications industry,” said Curt Gray, founder and vice president of business and strategic development for Satcom Integration. “Throughout our careers, we’ve become specialists on all of the major vendor equipment, aircraft types, and service offerings. We formed Satcom Integration to offer our expertise in requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation services as a formal service.”
Satcom Integration will focus on system configurations and hardware integrations, creating custom solutions where necessary, and leveraging Satcom Direct for additional satellite communication services such as voice, video, data, weather, flight planning, and more, as needed by the customer. They also plan to offer specialized products developed specifically to support integrated satellite communication solutions.
