JetCorp Technical Services, based in St. Louis, Mo., received FAA supplemental type certification for installation of the Aircell Cabin Telecommunications Router (CTR) aboard a Bombardier Challenger 300 business jet. Installation and certification of the Aircell CTR provides in-cabin Wi-Fi capability for the Gogo Biz In-Flight Internet service.

Director of Sales Kevin Kliethermes reports that the company has seen “a tremendous increase in requests for high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity from clients.”

Since late 2010, the avionics installation team at JetCorp has completed more than 35 Wi-Fi installations in multiple aircraft types, including the Challenger 604, Challenger 605, Challenger 300 and Learjet 60.  JetCorp said it has been able to cut the downtime required for the Wi-Fi installation on the Challenger 300 to four days.
