Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) has been selected by Transaero Airlines to equip 23 B737s with dual Localizer Precision with Vertical (LPV) landing systems. These systems include CMC’s CMA-5024 IntegriFlight GPS landing system sensor, and the CMA-5025 LPV landing system control panel.

Installation of the CMA-5024 and CMA-5025 will provide CAT-l equivalent LPV landing capability through CMC’s Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) GPS sensors. The GPS sensors enable Precision Area Navigation (P-RNAV) capability and GPS approaches. As a result of its certification for operation with the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS), the CMA-5024 provides positioning data with the highest levels of integrity and availability.

The CMA-5024 has been certified by the FAA and Transport Canada to TSO-C145c Beta-3, and TSO-146c Delta-4.
