If you want to discuss the future of ATM with NATS, you should mark July 13 on your calendar. At 9 a.m. BST (4 a.m. EST), Searidge Technologies’ CTO and co-founder, Alex Sauriol, will discuss next-generation ATM with NATS Chief Architect Simon Daykin and NATS Head of Customer Solutions Andrew Taylor. The discussion will be available via livestream.

Also the subject of Avionics’ and Rotor & Wing International’s ADS-B webinar on the same day (4 p.m. BST), next-generation ATM presents solutions, along with some questions. NATS said that topics would include the technology and advantages in the digital tower, artificial intelligence, and what ATM might look like 10 years in the future. Questions like, “What are the real benefits from going digital?” “How do you address cybersecurity concerns?” and, “Is there any need for a physical tower to be built again?” are to be addressed during the live event. Viewers will also be able to pose their own questions with the ability to submit them instantly.

“ATM is on the verge of a technology revolution that is going to transform how services are provided to airports and airlines,” NATS said. “Digital towers, advances in artificial intelligence and predictive technologies are going to provide safety, value, operational and resilience benefits to airports and ANSPs there were impossible to envisage 10 years ago.”
