EASA Certifies LEAP 1C Engine

[Avionics Magazine 12-22-2016] The European Aviation Safety Agency certified the CFM LEAP 1C engine on Dec. 21, providing CFM International the Type Certificate for the engine.

The LEAP-1C is the third model of the LEAP family and is designed to power the Chinese Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) C919 airplane.
