Atlas Air Exchanges Nine 767s for Converted Freighters

[Avionics Magazine 10-11-2016] Atlas Air Worldwide has converted an order for nine 767-passenger airplanes into Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF). Boeing previously announced four of the orders at the Farnborough International Airshow in July, attributed to an unidentified customer.

Atlas Air Worldwide, based in Purchase, New York has an all-Boeing fleet. It is the parent company of Atlas Air, Southern Air Holdings and Titan Aviation Holdings, and is the majority shareholder of Polar Air Cargo Worldwide.
