Airbus sees China as one of the fastest growing markets for air transport category aircraft, and currently 50 percent of the in-service commercial fleet in China are Airbus airplanes. The company’s 2015-2034 global market forecast estimates domestic China will become home to the world’s largest single passenger traffic flow by 2034. Some 5 percent of the components used to produce the A350 are also manufactured in China.

To date, Airbus has recorded some 800 firm orders for the A350 XWB from 42 customers worldwide.
