Avionics Today 09-29-2015] Jeppesen has entered an agreement to provide crew management services for SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines, which are both operated by SkyWest. Under the agreement, Jeppesen provides SkyWest and ExpressJet with its crew pairing optimization solution, which aims to maximize scheduling efficiency.
Crew pairing allows airlines to improve how they plan and execute optimized crew assignments and schedules.
“In a highly competitive business environment, Jeppesen crew management tools provide an advantage for reducing operating costs and the time required to develop precision schedules,” said Peter Andersson, director of Jeppesen Crew Optimization.
