[Avionics Today 08-12-2015] Aerion Corp., which is currently developing the Mach 1.5 AS2 supersonic business jet in conjunction with Airbus, has appointed Equus Global Aviation as its exclusive authorized sales representative for Central and South America, parts of the Caribbean, and Mexico. The AS2 is undergoing the advanced design phase and is targeting entry into service in 2022 for the supersonic aircraft.

Based in South Florida, Equus specializes in the purchase and sale of new and pre- owned large-cabin, long-range business jets.

“Equus well understands the needs of global travelers, and brings passion, as well as great technical knowledge, to the task of introducing the tremendous time-saving advantages of the AS2 to Latin American markets,” said Ernie Edwards, Aerion’s chief commercial officer.
