[Avionics Today 07-10-2015] Peach Aviation has introduced FlySmart, the Airbus Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) solution, to all its Airbus aircraft. Pilots will be able to consult flight operational manuals and compute their aircraft performance calculations, which will provide optimized and accurate results on any runway of their operational route network.

“FlySmart with Airbus will allow us to realize optimized operations and to remove paper thus reducing associated costs. We consider this solution as a real asset for our future operations to further improve the quality of our service,” said Shinichi Inoue, representative director and CEO of Peach Aviation.

In addition, Peach Aviation will also benefit from the EFB Assessment and EFB Operational Approval Assistance (APPROVE4Flight) service provided by Airbus Flight Operations Services. This solution offers on-site support for the compliance dossier including an analysis of the existing organization and processes, and the definition of Peach Aviation EFB implementation plan based on Airbus Flight Operations Services recommendations and best practices.

Peach Aviation operates 15 A320 aircraft and will take delivery of 5 additional A320s starting in July 2015.
