[Avionics Today 06-24-2015] Esterline Corp. is formally introducing its new display technologies for use in the commercial aerospace, defense, and training markets, which were acquired from Barco N.V. earlier this year.

The products include: Codis rugged military displays, air traffic control displays and operator consoles; CMC smart displays, modules, control assemblies, and avionics software and application services; and Treality simulation visual systems.

All of the formerly Barco products will exist within Esterline’s avionics and controls business segment. The Codis defense and air traffic control display products are being integrated into Esterline’s Control & Communication Systems business group. Meanwhile, Esterline’s Avionics Systems business group will feature new CMC avionics displays as well as the Treality simulation equipment for virtual training applications.
