[Avionics Today 04-02-2015] AVIC International has acquired Align Aerospace in an effort to expand its commercial aerospace services portfolio. Headquartered in Chatsworth, Calif., Align provides supply chain services for the aerospace industry and distributes fasteners and other hardware, primarily to aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers throughout North America, Europe and Asia. AVIC has primarily focused its commercial aerospace products in China.
“With AVIC International’s investment, resources and relationships we plan to grow Align’s relevance with its current customers in parallel with expanding the business globally, especially in the China market.” said Wu Guangquan, chairman of AVIC International.
