[Avionics Today 12-8-2014] Singapore Airlines (SIA) has signed a 10-year agreement with Parker Aerospace to provide support for its fleet of Boeing 777s. Under the agreement, Parker will provide maintenance, inventory pooling, leasing and management for SIA’s fleet of more than 50 Boeing 777s.

Singapore’s overall fleet featuring Boeing 777s, Airbus A330s and Airbus A380s is among the world’s youngest, with an average aircraft age of seven years.

“This long-term partnership with SIA illustrates Parker’s commitment to providing global reach, local focus to customers located around the world while elevating their experiences in working with us to meet the needs of their aircraft fleets,” said Bonnie Peat, vice president of Parker Aerospace’s customer support operations.
