[Avionics Today 11-21-2014] Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), has been awarded a contract by Air Mobility Command (AMC) to provide a Global Awareness Decision Support (GLADS) solution based on integrating AGI’s Systems Tool Kit (STK) software with existing Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) technologies. GLADS leverages the Global Awareness Presentations Services (GAPS) hosted at USSTRATCOM to combine authoritative data sources to display and analyze airborne assets, weather, intelligence and logistical support information.

GLADS provides situational awareness views and decision support to AMC and the 18th Air Force missions. GLADS will also help the 618th Air and Space Operations Center (or Tanker Airlift Control Center) monitor and de-conflict large volumes of airlift, air-to-air refueling, aeromedical evaluation and humanitarian relief missions flown every day.
