[Avionics Today 11-11-2014] Thales will equip Indonesian airline Lion Air’s new Airbus A320 fleet of 234 aircraft with its avionics package.

The avionics suite fitted on the new planes will include the Thales TopFlight Management System1, the ELT Integra3, Emergency Locator Transmitter and the ACSS T3CAS surveillance platform2, which Airbus has made the standard surveillance avionics suite for its A320.

The navigation management systems aim to provide a simplified working environment for pilots in the heavily congested South Asian airspace.
