ARINC Direct FOS Gets New Features

[Avionics Today 11-06-2014] Rockwell Collins announced the addition of new features to its ARINC Direct Flight Operations System (FOS) to increase flight operations efficiency for flight dispatchers, schedulers and pilots.ARINC Direct is part of the company’s new Information Management Services (IMS) division, providing ground-based flight operations capabilities to the business aviation community. Among the new features available from the software upgrade are the ability to run and file full flight plans through a link on the ARINC Direct website, access flight tracking and to view FOS trip reports on the ARINC Direct iPad application.
 
 
“Now, customers have one, easy-to-use interface that provides greater access to real-time flight information and essential data for quicker, more effective planning,” said Brian Kruger, senior director of applications and services for Rockwell Collins.
 
 
ARINC Direct is part of the company’s new Information Management Services (IMS) division, providing ground-based flight operations capabilities to the business aviation community.
