[Avionics Today 10-02-2014] HP has reached an agreement with Jeppesen to integrate the Jeppesen JetPlan flight planning engine into the HP Flight Operations suite. Under this agreement, Jeppesen’s solution will power HP’s flight planning interface, which the company believes will allow the airlines to increase the efficiency of their operations, reduce costs and enhance the passenger experience.

HP’s Flight Operations is a system that manages day-to-day airline operations through business process modeling and integration of disparate systems into a single interface. JetPlan features first-time flyable, optimized routes that are aimed to reduce fuel costs and overflight charges while improving on-time performance and minimizing the risk of disruption.
