[Avionics Today 09-18-2014] Intrepid Aviation has announced the acquisition of one A330-300 equipped with two General Electric CF6-80E1A4 engines. The aircraft was manufactured in late 2012 and has since been on lease to China Airlines. This is the second A330-300 aircraft Intrepid has acquired on lease to the Taiwan-based airline.

“The A330-300 is the workhorse of China Airlines’ regional fleet, and constitutes the core of Intrepid’s current portfolio. It is therefore only natural that we continue our rapid growth with such a high-class combination of lessee and asset, ” said Colin Bole, Intrepid’s chief commercial officer.
