Dover Air Force Contracts Versar for Runway Repair

[Avionics Today 8-14-2014] Dover Air Force Base awarded Versar a $98.3 million firm, fixed-price task order to repair the runway at the Delaware base. This task order was awarded under Versar’s S/R&M Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC) Indefinite Deliver, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), held with their joint venture partner, Johnson Controls Federal Systems.

The SATOC IDIQ primarily services AFCEC customers, providing execution of facility repairs, renovations and construction. Versar will be the general contractor managing all work with subcontractors: American Infrastructure, Atlantic Electric and Anthony Allega Cement Contractor.
