[Avionics Today 08-11-2014] United Airlines (UAL) reported its July 2014 operational results in which consolidated traffic (revenue passenger miles) increased 1 percent and consolidated capacity (available seat miles) increased 1.6 percent versus July 2013. UAL’s July 2014 consolidated load factor decreased 0.5 points compared to July 2013.
This year UAL will take delivery of 35 new Boeing aircraft, including the 787-9 as the North American launch customer, and will welcome 32 new Embraer 175 aircraft to United Express.
