[Avionics Today June 27, 2014] Chinese carrier Tianjin Airlines is adding a new web-based flight monitoring capability across its fleet of E-Jets, Embraer’s Aircraft Health Analysis and Diagnosis – Prognosis (AHEAD-PRO).

Tianjin is the Chinese launch customer for the system, which allows airlines to continuously monitor the health of aircraft systems in real time while in flight.

“Embraer AHEAD-PRO system offers us all functionalities to optimize the health monitoring process, from data acquisition to time-to-failure prognosis," said Hu Jianfeng, vice president of Tianjin Airlines.

The Chinese airline has a fleet of 50 E-Jets.
