Robinson Helicopter has unveiled a new line of glass instrument panels and avionics for its R22, R44 and R66 helicopters.
The new line includes Garmin’s GTN 600/700 touch-screen navigators, as well as Aspen Avionics’ Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multifunction Display (MFD) systems. To allow for the new glass avionics, Robinson replaced the instrument panels on the airframes with six and eight-hole panels.
Robinson is currently in the final stages of certification for the new avionics systems.
