[Avionics Today 10-02-2015] Dublin-based CityJet has signed a firm agreement to acquire up to 16 Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft in the network of Sweden’s Scandinavian Airlines (SAS). CityJet will acquire the aircraft from an unidentified customer that signed a firm purchase agreement for eight CRJ900 aircraft and took options on an additional six.


Based on the list price of the CRJ900 aircraft, the firm agreement Bombardier and its customer signed is valued at approximately $369 million. The value could increase to $651 million if all options are exercised.
