U.S. Air Force Increasing Cyber Security

The U.S. Air Force has issued a new task order to General Dynamics Information Technology to provide modernized base-level network security boundary support at all active Air Force and Air National Guard bases worldwide. 
 
General Dynamics will provide the support to the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The contract has a potential value of $25.3 million over two years if all options are exercised. 
 

Under the task order, General Dynamics will provide network management upgrades to Air Force Integrated Network Operations and Security Centers and Air Force Computer Emergency Response Team locations. The upgrades will also allow top increase visibility into network traffic across the Air Force Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet).
