Taiwan carrier EVA Air announced a package of new avionics upgrades from Rockwell Collins Thursday at the Paris Air Show.

The package includes the "full suite" of Rockwell Collins cockpit avionics, according to the company. EVA selected the upgrades for seven new 777s. The airline has an option to add four additional aircraft, which would also feature the Rockwell Collins package as well.

“This is an especially meaningful win for Rockwell Collins since EVA was our launch customer for MultiScan when we first brought it to market,” said TC Chan, vice president and managing director, Asia Pacific for Rockwell Collins.

The new systems will begin delivery to Taiwan next year, according to a company statement.
