SkyTrac Systems obtained a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the ISAT-200 satcom system on the Dash-8 twin-engine, medium range turboprops.
The Dash-8 STC in addition to the AML part-23 STC SkyTrac obtained earlier in 2012 gives a broad range of coverage in the fixed-wing market. The ISAT-200 provides a full range of flight following and SatCom capabilities for operators, and will be complemented by the release of the ISAT-200A later this year.
“SkyTrac works very hard and expends time and resources to ensure STCs are available for our products on popular airframe types,” said Kathleen Wallace, SkyTrac president and CEO.
