Sanmina-SCI to Make TrueNorth Equipment

Sanmina-SCI Corp., based in San Jose, Calif., will manufacture TrueNorth Avionics’ Simphone in-cabin telecommunications equipment for business aircraft at its Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, facility, the companies announced Thursday.

"Our Ottawa facility has achieved the latest certifications for quality and manufacturing excellence required for highly complex products like Simphone’s OpenCabin systems," said Dave Dutkowsky, executive vice president of Sanmina-SCI’s Communications Networks Division. "This partnership also highlights our design engineering, NPI and product industrialization capabilities, which will help TrueNorth rapidly introduce new products and quickly deliver high reliability products."
