ACSS, an L-3 Communications and Thales joint venture, on Wednesday named Terry Flaishans vice president and general manager.
Flaishans brings close to 30 years of aerospace experience to ACSS. He joins the company from L-3 Avionics Systems where he was vice president of engineering for the division, as well as for the L-3 AP businesses. As the engineering lead at L-3 Avionics Systems, he managed more than 150 engineers in three U.S. facilities and was responsible for all of the division’s products and certifications. Prior to L-3, Flaishans was vice president of engineering at Meggitt S-TEC in Texas, and before that he was an engineering lead at Honeywell where he spent more than 20 years in avionics design and development.
