Avionics Support Group (ASG), of Miami, was awarded a patent for its CF Mount, an electronic flight bag (EFB) mount for the frame of a moveable aircraft window, the company announced Tuesday. The patent (application number 11/336,270) will issue this spring with claims directed to a mounting device mounted to an aircraft window frame and capable of positioning an electronic display device, such as an electronic flight bag, in a desired position for access and viewing by the pilot, according to the company. The CF Mount is already commercially available from Avionics Support Group.
