GE Aviation Acquires Naverus

GE Aviation announced plans Monday to acquire Naverus, of Kent, Wash., a provider of performance-based navigation services. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. "GE is committed to delivering solutions that help our customers operate aircraft more efficiently, with reduced environmental impact," GE Aviation Systems President and CEO Lorraine Bolsinger said. "The acquisition of Naverus brings some of the best PBN technology to GE Aviation’s Systems business, further expanding our committement to deliver environmental results for our customers." GE said RNP technology from Naverus will enhance its exisiting suite of avionics and flight management systems to "better address customers’ needs for air traffic management service solutions."
