Panasonic Signs Contract with Etihad Airways

Panasonic Avionics, of Lake Forest, Calif., signed an agreement with Etihad Airways for 10 B777-300ERs, 5 A330-300s and 2 A330-200s to be equipped with Panasonic’s eX2 in-flight entertainment and connectivity system. The agreement also includes a 7-year turnkey service maintenance contract. The first aircraft delivery is expected in December 2009. Etihad’s eX2 system will feature over 80 movies, 100 Television shows, 60 games, and 500 audio CDs.
