PCB Piezotronics, based in Depew, N.Y., announced plans to acquire a substantial portion of assets and intellectual property from RS Technologies Ltd., a supplier of load cells, torque transducers, wheel force transducers and fastening/assembly test equipment to the automotive, aerospace, power tool and heavy equipment industries. PCB said the acquisition strengthens its portfolio, which covers a variety of sensing and signal conditioning technologies. PCB Piezotronics completed the acquisition through its PCB Load & Torque whollyâ€owned subsidiary. PCB Load & Torque will operate out of the existing RS Technologies Ltd. headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich.
