SkyTrac Systems, based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, signed a contract with Bering Pacific Ranches Ltd., an organic cattle ranch in Fort Glenn, Alaska which uses helicopters to herd cattle. SkyTrac will equip Bering Pacific’s fleet of Robinson R44 and R22 helicopters with flight following and satellite communication systems. “With our helicopters flying in extremely remote conditions, it is critical that we are able to effectively communicate with pilots at all times,” said Pat Harvie, owner of Bering Pacific Ranches.
