Honeywell Wins Navy Contract

Honeywell was awarded a $26.3 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to exercise an option for the full-rate production of 498 Advanced Multi-Purpose Displays (AMPD) for Lot 33 F/A-18F and EA/-18G aircraft, and retrofit of Lot 26-28 F/A-18E/F and E/A-18G aircraft for the U.S. Navy (422 units) and the Government of Australia (76 units). Units for the U.S. Navy include 167 5-by-5-inch forward; 134 5-by-5-inch aft; 64 8-by-10-inch AMPDs and 57 8-by-10-inch AMPD High Resolution Recorder Interface kits to upgrade legacy displays with higher resolution capability. Units for Australia include 30 5-by-5-inch forward; 30 5-by-5-inch aft; and 16 8-by-10-inch AMPDs. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M., and is expected to be completed in 2010.
