Norwegian Air Shuttle Selects Rockwell Collins

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA selected Rockwell Collins to provide avionics for 42 Boeing 737NG aircraft with an option for an additional 42 aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2009. The avionics package selected includes the WXR-2100 MultiScan Hazard Detection System; Automatic Direction Finder ADF-900; Direction Finding Antenna DFA-901; Distance Measuring Equipment DME-900; High Frequency Data Radio HFS-900D, Coupling Unit CPL-920D; GPS Landing Unit GLU-925; VHF Omnidirectional Range/Marker Beacon Receiver VOR-900 and Traffic Alert Collision Avoidance System.
