ARINC Engineering Services, Annapolis, Md., was awarded a one-year, $4.8 million contract from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego to provide integration, design and analysis services for emerging technologies in navigation, air surveillance and reconnaissance. The contract includes four one-year options, which could bring the cumulative value to $26.1 million. Areas of study ARINC and its 12 subcontractors include new navigation technologies; the impact of evolving tactics/techniques on the integrity of navigation signals; and system integration, engineering, design, testing and analysis for emerging navigation and C4ISR technology on ships, aircraft, land vehicles and ground stations. The performance period of the contract began in January, and three task orders have already been submitted for award, ARINC said.
