Northrop Grumman was awarded an $18 million, one-year contract by FAA to maintain and enhance the aeronautical information database, National Airspace System Resource (NASR), and Electronic NASR (eNASR) systems, collectively known as the NASR II system. Under the terms of the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide NASR II systems operation, maintenance and enhancement. The company will also modify NASR II to adopt the use of the aeronautical information exchange model, and support management and technical data portals. Work on the contract will be conducted in various Washington, D.C., FAA facilities over one year with four one-year options.
