Formation, Inc., of Moorestown, N.J., earned AS 9100B certification, a quality system standard for suppliers to the aerospace industry. Formation designs and manufactures hardware and software products for the aerospace industry, including ToughDisk Rugged Hard Disks, Advanced Integrated Recorders, avionics class servers and rugged wired and wireless networks. AS 9100B specifies requirements for product quality, improvement and customer service. The standard includes the complete text of ISO 9001:2000 plus about 80 additional requirements and 18 amplifications of these standards.
