Jean-Michel Comtois

CMC Electronics Inc.’s military aviation business unit has named Jean-Michel Comtois vice president. He has been with the company since 2000 and served as the vice president of government and public affairs since 2002. A retired general in the Canadian Armed Forces, Comtois began his military career as a fighter pilot and later served as the director general of management renewal services at the Canadian Department of National Defense. Greg Geyer

Crane Aerospace and Electronics has appointed Greg Geyer as the vice president of operations and site manager for its Chandler, Ariz., location. He will be in charge of the site’s microwave and millimeter-wave product manufacturing. Charles Edmondson, Donald Berlin

Universal Avionics Systems Corp. recently made two promotions: Charles Edmondson to senior corporate vice president and Donald Berlin to chief operating officer. A 25-year veteran with the company, Edmondson formerly was executive vice president.
